The Tanzania High Commission in Namibia has organized a trade and tourism exhibition held from October 4 to 11, 2021 at the Wernhil Shopping Mall in Windhoek, Namibia.

At the exhibition, the High Commission has brought together Tanzanian entrepreneurs and traders living in the country (diaspora) to showcase unique Tanzanian products including; rice, cashew nuts, coffee, honey, tea leaves, beans, Tanzanian made African materials (vitenge), batik, knitted clothes and beverages such as wine and Konyagi. 

Along with displaying these products, dictionaries and various books to learn the Kiswahili language as well as the sale of various Tanzanian foods were a major attraction for many customers.

The aim of the exhibition is to provide opportunities for Tanzanian entrepreneurs and traders to advertise and promote their businesses as well as bringing together local and foreign stakeholders with the aim of promoting trade and attracting investors in the country.

The exhibition was opened by the Tanzania's High Commissioner to Namibia Hon. Dr. Modestus Kipilimba on the 4th of October, 2021.
